The County of Simcoe’s Economic Development Office is responsible for the attraction, retention, and expansion of businesses and business opportunities within Simcoe County. This includes supporting the development of skilled and accessible workforce, and employers of choice. The office also compiles and maintains relevant economic data and community statistics to assist in business decision making process. The Economic Development Office works with Simcoe County’s sixteen municipalities, the Cities of Barrie and Orillia, and with regional service providers to help businesses thrive and grow.
